Put on your thinking caps and prep your funny bones! Gathered from the far corners of the web, the Funhouse presents 8 Questioning Quiz Shows for your pleasure. Some humorous, some intellectual, some down-right insane–you’re sure to find a quiz for all tastes here. So, bone up and go to work.
This silly little photo guessing game has an interesting appeal. Presented with photographs of celebrities and various other people, all with their upper lips blacked out, players will try to guess whether or not the person in the picture has a moustache or not. I suprised myself several times when a bushy upper lip appeared where I guessed it wouldn’t.
Might want to turn your speakers down just a bit before entering due to the rather raucous rock music which delights us in the background. Don’t let it distract you from the task at hand, for if you guess one wrong ’stache, the game ends. Get as many in a row correct as you can and then shave.

I included this silly Simpsons Quiz because of it’s pop-culture appeal and the fact that it uses actual Simpsons video clips and that it, no doubt, has instant appeal to a large fan base. But as a Simpsons fan, I found the quiz a little ordinary. You either know all the answers because you watch a lot of Simpsons or you don’t know any of them because you don’t watch the Simpsons. The pay-off of hearing the actual answer out of homer’s mouth will either bore those who’ve seen it before or bore those who aren’t into it, leaving a very small few who will not be bored by the quiz. It may however start as an introduction to the Simpsons for anyone who, as yet, has never heard of them.
I will give the game credit for incorporating video into the quiz. The short 10-Question Quiz won’t take up much of your time, but enjoy it the first time because it’s the same 10 questions each time you play.

Presented against a plain gray background, this simple 21 question quiz about movies from the past 25 years could really stand to have a larger pool of questions. So much trivia about movies floats around out there. I can see some potential for turning this into a really amazing quiz, but alas, it really only serves as a short test of random knowledge.
Do you know who played Luke Skywalker in Star Wars? If so, you should get about 50% or more of these questions correct. You don’t ever get to see the correct answers, so you can take the quiz again later, after you google for all the answers. Just kidding, don’t go get all offended!
Actually, I took it twice and did about the same both times. And then thought, “Why a questions about Jesse Ventura when you only have 21 questions to ask about 25 years of movies?”

Logo Game - Know Your Subconscious-Level Marketing
How many of these 30 common logos can you identify from memory? I got about half. This quiz makes it difficult to use google for help because you need to know the answer in order to start a search query. This quiz reminds me of frequent articles in GAMES Magazine. A fun pop culture test.
Type your answers in the blanks, when you fill in all you can think of hit the “check” button and all the correct answers will manifest. As with the previous quizzes I would like to see some sort of larger database of logos and icons incorporated and drawn at random. Because this quiz has no dynamic changes it only allows for a short amount of fun. If guessing corporate logos is your bag of cheese, you will enjoy this quiz for a few minutes.

I grew up in one of those States and I live in another now, so I can get two answers right off the bat. How many of the 50 states (circa 2007) can you name from memory IN TEN MINUTES. That’s right, you have to come up with 5 states a minute or die. I know a lot of the nerds out there can do this in 30 seconds or less, so you all will find this quiz too simple, however, since you have to type all the state names, you will have to know how to spell them as well.
I fear that the Brits, Canadians and Guatemalians will all fair better at this than a great deal of my fellow countrymen. So fun for everyone I guess! I would have liked to see a larger pool of random states to choose from, but I guess we can blame the USA Department of Acquisitions for that.
By the way, this quize comes in two formats. One quiz has a single box where you type all 50 States and the other has slots for all 50, which helps when trying to remember the state from that fuzzy gray area near the Great Lakes.

Idiot Test - Only An Idiot Wouldn’t Try It
Now we get to the meat of the quiz genre. The Idiot Test has a lot of smarts and it has a devilish personality behind it. The quiz starts out with shapes and colors and sequences of numbers. After a while it feels like playing Simon Says with a really strict Simon. If you do exactly as the instructions specify, you will make it far, but mess up once, just once and it’s curtains.
The Test has some doosies in there, make sure you think fast, but not too fast. The fact that you have to start all over if you miss any question gets a little frustrating, but they never claim the test is easy.

This popular quiz has won the hearts of the seeing population. It will put your powers of observation to the test. Simply choose which the four answers best matches the visual given. Sometimes you have more than four choices and sometimes, it seems, you have no choices. The quiz has several rounds, approximately 10 questions each, which thankfully help out because most everyone who tries misses several questions. If you miss any you will return to the beginning of the present level.
I never got past question 47. (If anyone knows how, let me know.) But I had a hell of a fun time getting there.

If you haven’t yet discovered this quiz that has made the rounds all over the net, you are in for a bit of a treat. Similar to The Vision Test, this quiz uses sloppily drawn graphics and text. But don’t let that fool you into believing you can sloppily make your way through this test. This test has an incredible number of questions. You get 3 Lives. Lose a life everytime you answer incorrectly and with the quirkiness of these questions and the cleverness required to discover the answers, you will use those lives up before you know it. Along the way you will earn ‘passes’ which allow you to skip difficult questions. But you’ll miss out in the fun and humor or guessing until you get it right.
Most of the answers have a clever toungue-in-cheek humor involved in them and many times the answer won’t be one of the four given to choose from, so be forewarned. Sometimes the answer is just plain wrong, but you better learn it the wrong way or you won’t go far. Everytime you have to go back and do a section over, you will feel like you’re playing Simon Trickster, as you memorize a string of correct clicks to make your way through the next tricky level. Superb Quizdom. Please more like this!
