2 Attention Juggling Games

Game Review

Like trying to pat your head and rub your stomach at the same time, these two fun games make you split your attention between two different tasks happening at the same time. Very challenging to play.

Triangles - Double Vision

TrianglesTriangles will have you darting your eyes back and forth between two similar screens. You control the left screen with your keyboard, using the W-S-A-D keys and the right screen with your mouse. Move your circles around and avoid the moving triangles which populate the screens. You can collect red circles for bonuses. The triangles come at you from top to bottom or side to side and sometimes rotate.

I had such a difficult time playing the game longer than about a minute that I can’t exactly tell you what other surprises lie ahead.

The game features very simple geometric shapes and a bouncy music track. But you won’t have much time to focus on any of that as you play. This game provides lots of adrenaline rush and playtime will probably not last very long the first several times you try it.

  • Easy to learn
  • Keyboard and Mouse simultaneous gameplay
  • Lots of Skill involved
  • Excellent replay value
  • Refreshing Concept
  • Basic graphics
  • Bouncy Audio
  • Adrenaline Rushing Fun
  • Score 8

Red Team - Seeing Double

Red-TeamRed-Team plays similarly to Triangles, but this time you use only the keyboard to control two different game characters. You use your A-Z keys and your Up-Down Arrow Keys and your only movements will be up and down. Maneuver your little red floating men through two seperate obstacle courses comprised of various stalagmites. The first few courses provide you a warm up in which both characters have the exact same course, but the game quickly progresses to harder levels, where you will have to do some quick thinking. If either man hits an obstacle you have to start the level over.

The game has very simple red graphics and a driving techno soundtrack. The length of each course (at least in the first several levels) feels relatively short, so you won’t have to hold your breath too long to get through a course. But don’t let the seemingly simple courses and controls fool you, this game will test your skill at doing two tasks at once. Thank heavens for the password feature and the fact that you only have to replay the most recent level if you mess up.

  • Easy to learn
  • Up and Down keyboard controls
  • Skill involved
  • Loads of replay value
  • Original Concept
  • Simple Red graphics
  • Repetetive Techno Audio
  • Unnerving Fun
  • Score 8
