Game Review

Yo Bratz! This week I got two fun games that are all the jizz. This batch includes a progressive puzzler called Phit and a hectic arcade-style game called Rerun.

Phit - Progressive Puzzler

phitThis simple progressive puzzler is lots of fun. Move all the shapes into the shaded area so they all fit. Simple at first, but soon becomes challenging. The game uses simple colorful graphics and the pieces move very easily. You won’t feel frustrated trying to move misplaced pieces back to the top because the pieces float with near weightlessness and you can move several pieces together at once.

  • Easy to learn
  • Challenging gameplay
  • Smarts involved
  • Some replay value
  • Familiar Concept
  • Suitable graphics
  • OK Audio
  • Very Fun
  • Score 7

Rerun - Frantic Arcade Game

RerunIn this colorful action game you start with a puck and you move it around the screen collecting dots of the same color as your puck, while avoiding dots of a different color. After the round ends, you play the same board using a different colored puck. However, a ghost of your previous round will also appear on the screen while you play. So you have to avoid your puck from the previous round as well. After you overlap four different game screens, the game play becomes very challenging.

The minimal game design has a lot of visual appeal. You won’t find it difficult to pick up, but how the game scores the hits and misses takes a little playing to understand. You can also change the look of your puck and the dots in the options section.

  • Fairly Easy to learn
  • Moderate gameplay
  • Skill & Luck involved
  • Excellent replay value
  • Original Concept
  • Colorful graphics
  • Good Audio
  • Much Fun
  • Score 8
